Strengthening Civil Protection Capacity
Project Description
To upskill operational and technical Civil Protection staff in risk prevention and disaster management, the Minister of the Interior, Community Development and Public Security plans to provide the agency with the necessary infrastructure and equipment.
The general objective of the project is to improve risk prevention and disaster management.
Specific objectives are:
- Enhancing the technical capacities of Civil Protection through the construction of the National School of Civil Protection;
- Enhancing technical capacity in emergency management through construction of a National Emergency Operations Center (CNOU);
- Operationalizing the National School of Civil Protection.
