PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project is owned by Trogon Trading Limited Company and duly incorporated in Malawi.

Objective
The aim of the proposed project is to set up a tannery to add value to the hides and skins being produced in Malawi and develop the leather value chain. This will reduce import dependence, generate employment and contribute to the improved contribution of the manufacturing sector to GDP.

AVAILABILITY OF PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDIES, FEASIBILITY STUDIES, AND OTHER STUDIES:

A feasibility study on the viability of a tannery in Malawi and market studies have been completed.
