Madziwa Teachers College is a state-owned college that falls under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development.
It has an annual enrollment of 1,785 students which was projected to grow to 2,400 by 2022. It has a staff complement of 100. The university currently has only 33% of the required student and staff accommodation.
