PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The agro-processing Zone of PTASO in south-west Madagascar will be dedicated to organizing and structuring actors around strategic value chains (rice, cassava, corn, banana, potatoes and others).
Total area: 120 Ha

Atsimo Andrefana (Toliara)

CURRENT STATUS/ STAGE OF PROJECT:
In progress
- – Preliminary studies for the establishment of the PAI (agro-industrial park) and CABIZ (Agro-Business Centre)
- – Identification of land for new buildings, rehabilitation of storage warehouses, controlled livestock markets and market gardens for women
- – Acquisition of 4 vehicles
- – Recruitment of the Management Unit’s members
ESTIMATED COST OF THE PROJECT:
USD 80 million (estimated)
INVESTMENT REQUIRED:
1st phase of the industrial area (45 Ha): USD 54.53 million
