Project Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project aims to increase the production capacity of the country’s fruit industry to address demand in both domestic and regional markets.

The project sits on about 313 Ha of land. Current production of bananas is on 30 Ha with a further 100 Ha already cleared for expansion and 50 Ha marked and pitted, awaiting planting of banana suckers. Future expansion will include the production of other commercially viable fruit such as avocados and mangos to supply local and regional markets.
