PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project is led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock
Main activities:
- Increase seed production by developing national and international partnerships in research, vitroplants, laboratories, etc.
- Develop cultivation of seeds and plants in the following crops: maize, cassava, wheat, sorghum, and sweet potato
- Develop partnerships with food processors with profitable and sustainable agribusiness activities. Investors are encouraged to develop infrastructure like roads, rural tracks, ports, and energy (PPP)
- The project also aims to help youth entrepreneurship by promoting ‘green land title’

Androy, Anosy, Atsinanana, Haute Matsiatra, Ihorombe
LEAD AGENCY/ PROJECT PROMOTER:
Project lead by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and promoted in collaboration with The Economic Development Board of Madagascar EDBM
CURRENT STATUS/ STAGE OF PROJECT:
Greenfield
INVESTMENT REQUIRED:
USD 10 million including processing units, research and development, laboratories and seeds.
