They have a combined potential of 185MW and are situated less than 150km from Kinshasa, which has a power deficit of about 1,000MW.<\/p>\n<p>The project aligns with public policies set out in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Government Action Program (2024\u20132028), which aims to develop electricity production capacity<\/li>\n<li>The National Strategic Development Plan (PNSD 2024\u201328), which aims to guarantee reliable access to electricity for all social groups<\/li>\n<li>The Master Plan for Industrialization of the DRC by 2040.
