Kenya-Rwanda fintech passporting deal removes cross-border licensing barriers

The National Bank of Rwanda and the Central Bank of Kenya signed the Kigali Declaration on Fintech License Passporting, allowing licensed fintech firms in one country to expand services into the other without a full licensing process, strengthening cross-border digital payments.
